(INTRO)

Alecia is 16 years old. It’s the year where students must take their high school final examination before deciding which college to go next. Alecia is the type of girl that balance studying and playing. She often studies with her group of friends together and often celebrate after each examination. After the high school final examination, one of her friend invited many people to her party that she organizes as to celebrate her early birthday as well as the end of high school days.

1 hour before the party, Alecia went to Kimberly’s house.

Kimberly, one of her best friend, smiling brightly and said:

“I’m so excited for the party. I’m so glad that Jax invited us to her party. It’s going to be the best party. Let’s get you dressed up. “

Kimberly then pick a nice dress that suits Alecia and quickly make her change into.

Valencia shrugged and said, ‘‘hey Kim, this dress is nice but I’m scared I would ruined it. You know how clumsy I am…”

Kim mentions that the dress is a gift from her as we might go to different college in future.

ALECIA

I picked up the beautiful blue gown. The gown was in a dynamic ocean colour, embroidered with jewels. I quickly changed into the gown and stared at the it. It was so beautiful, something that only I would wear in my dreams.

Kim and I went to the party together. The chauffeur drops us off just in front of Jax house. Jax and her friends warmly welcomed us. The music were blast really loudly. I meet my many classmates at the party. There were also people whom I don’t know. I walked towards the side of the swimming pool at the backyard. I took a glass of grape champagne. Just as I was sipping the savory juice, a guy walked up to me and introduced himself. The guy was wearing a black suit with small white stripes, it was a plain yet attractive piece.

The guy has ash brown hair that suits his chocolate eye colour. He came up to me, and said: “hey, beautiful. How’s your day?

I gave him a doubtful face. I asked, “do you called the rest of the girls beautiful too? “

He replied: “yes. The girls seem to like it when I address them as beautiful. Why do you seem like you hate it?”

I raised my eyebrows and said: “that’s the exact same reason why I don’t like you calling me beautiful. Sorry, I got to go. “

He quickly said: “wait... what’s your name?”

I walked away and quickly mentioned: “I am Alecia Meier. If we are meant to meet again, we will.”

As I walked further away, he added that his name was Jabree Crawford.

JABREE

I chatted with many peeps. I wanted to look and see if I could any nice girls out there in the party. I made my way through the crowds and noticed a girl in blue coral gown. Her beautiful waist-length, reddish-brown hair compliments her blue gown perfectly. I thought, ‘wow, that girl look amazing…should I go up and talk to her?’

After much consideration, I walked up and tried to talked to her.

I called her beautiful, expecting her to smile happily just like the other girls. However, she frowned instead. ‘that’s strange, usually people like getting compliments. What did I do wrong?’

She quickly ended the conversation by saying “If we are meant to meet again, we will”

She amazed me. She is special. I knew it from the time I looked at only her.

I mumbled, “I hope to see Alecia again. She’s different.”

ALECIA

Since the music was blasting loudly, I head towards the garden where it wasn’t as noisy and crowded. The garden did not have much lighting so it was rather dark. I could barely see, but I saw a bench in the garden. I walked towards it and sat down. Just then, Jabree was also heading towards the bench from the opposite direction. Both of us took a closer look and realized that we met again. Both of us were surprised but we swiftly laughed it off.

Both of us greeted each other and this time we introduced ourselves appropriately.

I said: “I have a favor to ask. I need your help. There’s this guy who keep harassing me. I want you to help me chase him away. You can act as my…”

Jabree interrupted with enthusiasm, “oh! I can act as your boy… No never mind, your brother. I can threaten him and make him stop coming at you.”

I did not expect him to act as my brother, but since he wants to. I’m more than happy to.

Jabree added, “But why should I help you? It does not benefit me at all. “

I gave a thought, and realize that he talks to many people. However, not many treat him as a real friend as his father is the chairman of Einsoft company. Many people does not want to get involve with him as they might get into trouble. People around Jabree treated him with respect but also with cautious.

I said, “If you help me, I will be your friend, a spy for you. You know a lot of people might have an agenda to go near you, since you are the chairman’s son. I will help you check out who is trustworthy and who is not. Deal?”

JABREE

I gave it a quick thought and said, “ Sure.”

Alecia raised her hand and wanted to hi-five as if to seal the deal with it.

I swiftly hi-five her back and grinned.

I put my hand out and bowed slightly, asking Alecia for a dance since the party was still ongoing. Alecia place her small hand into mine and we walked near the fountain. We started dancing. Alecia was so gracefully, she dances like a princess. The moonlight shine on both of us. When I look into her eyes, I could feel the burn in my heart. Her gown sheens more than ever, the crystal jade jewels on her dress was shining under the moonlight.

After the dance ended, the next song started playing. She sang the first verse with ease. Then she gestured me to sing along as well. I wasn’t as confident as her, but I still tried to sing. I sang the second verse. At that moment, she came in to sing with me. I enjoyed singing with her. It’s been a long time since I last sung a song.

ALECIA

“Hey, it’s time for us to go. The party is ending and it’s late already.” I said.

Jabreel looked depressed and sighed. He said, “I knew this is ending but I wished it wasn’t so soon. It’s been really nice to know you, Alecia.”

Jabree offered to send me back home. Since it was really late, I accepted his offer and quickly went home.

One week later, he texted me: Hey Alecia, there’s this activity that you might be keen in joining. He sends me a picture on details on going to a beach with a group of mutual friends.

When I saw the message, I was really pleased that he invited me. I knew the activity is going to be fun. Furthermore, I could see him again.

BEACH ACTIVITY WITH JABREE

We met each other on the beach and chatted slightly. I said, “It’s really nice to see you again. “

Just then I saw my middle schoolmate crush, Alyn Howard. Alyn was still hot as ever, his reddish-brown hair was so attractive. Alyn noticed me and ambled towards my direction.

I quickly shoved Jabree to the side and smiled at Alyn.

Alyn fixed his hair while talking, “Hey, Meier. Such a coincidence. It’s been some time since I last saw you. How are you doing?”

I fidgeted and said, “High school life just ended. I’m considering between Madalen and Brillyn college. What about you, Howard? “

Howard said, “Same. Madalen and Brillyn are the best college out there.”

Jabree interrupted our conversation by saying, “Hi. Nice to meet you. I am Alecia’s friend, Jabree Crawford.”

Jabree put his hand out. Alyn shake hands with Jabree and introduced himself.

JABREE

I noticed that Alecia eyes lit up when she talks to Howard. It has a different aura. She treats him differently. I figured out that Alecia likes him. I felt ill-fated feelings but I’m contented so long as Alecia is happy.

ALYN

It’s nice to Meier again. I somewhat miss her and the times we spent together back in middle school. I realize that I still love Alecia from middle school. I liked her and always wanted to protect her. I hinted to her by saying that my ideal type is girls like her, back in middle school. Is it fate that we met again?

ALONE TIME WITH JABREE

At that moment, someone shouted for Alyn. He quickly bowed and left to settle his unsettling matters.  Jabree and I were left alone once again. We were discussing about college and what kind of extra-curricular activities we will be taking in the future. As we know each other more, I realize that we have the same interest. Both of us enjoyed sports activity and we are active. Jabree encourage me to go to Madalen college. He told me the benefits of joining Madalen college. I told him that I would consider his advice.

JABREE

I ask, “hey, do you like Howard?”

We were sitting by the beach, enjoying the sea breeze. Alecia said, “Yes, I think I do. However, I know we can’t be together. He only treats me like a sister, nothing more. It’s a one-sided love.”

I thought, ‘It might not be one-sided.’

I quickly brush off that thought as I did not want it to affect my day with Alecia.

Our friends have come up with activities for us to get involve with. We had to play gamers and the loser would have to get wet in the ocean.

Coincidentally, Alecia and I were in a team together with 2 other friends. The five of us are very determined to win. It was a game of volleyball. We strategize and decided that Alecia and I will guard the front section while the other 2 friends will guide that back section. Alecia and I have the perfect playing combo. Alecia fell while trying to save a ball. I realize that she was about to fall so I tried to save her from falling. I pulled her hand and hugged her. However, it was hard to balance and we still end up falling. As we were falling on the ground, I swiftly use my strength to push her away so that I would fall first. As I planned, Alecia fall onto of me. Her face was so close to mine. My heart beats quickly and my face turned slightly red.

ALECIA

I thought, ‘Oh no. I’m about to fall.’

Just when I am about fall, Jabree reflex quickly and tried to save me. However, we ended up falling together. I fall into his chest. My head hurts and I blushed when I realized that I was so close to him.

I said, “Oh my, are you okay? I’m so sorry and thank you.’

He said, “I’m okay. Don’t sweat it, yea?’

I tried to get up and let out a cry. I scraped my knee. He realizes that I was injured and he carried me to a shelter which had first-aid necessities.

I was tired from the game so I fall asleep in his embrace while he carries me. His arms were so warm, it was really nice.

When I woke up, I saw him staring at me. He said, “Alecia, how are you feeling?”

I spoke in a quiet tone, “I’m fine. I was just a little tired and I fell asleep. Sorry for making you worry, Jabree.”

Jabree hugged me which gave me quite a shocked.

He did not let go, instead he said, “Thankfully, you are fine. I don’t want to see you getting injured again. Promise me that, will you?”

I nodded in silence and hugged him back.

Alyn heard about me falling and came rushing to find me.

ALYN

A friend of mine runs to me. He looked worried and pants, “Alecia… Alecia had a fall.”

When I heard him, I quickly asked where is Alecia. I rushed there as soon as I could. However, I saw Alecia and Jabree hugging each other. My heart breaks and I left them alone. I walked away in disappointment.

ALECIA

After I hugged Jabree, I assured him and told him to worry. He offered to drive me home safely. I nodded and agreed. When I reach home, I thank him for saving me as well as fetching me home.

At night, I receive a text from Alyn. He said he perceived news that I got injured and he was concerned about it. I was rather disappointed that Alyn did not come and look for me. I guess, in Alyn’s mind, I am never his priority. Little did I know that he did come and look for me, just that he misinterpreted the situation.

DAY OUT WITH JABREE

Jabree often ask me about my recovery state so I frequently update him. When I was well, He asked me out for an ice-cream date. I guess he wanted to cheer me up. I agreed to it as I felt lonely when I had to stay at home when I got injured. I wanted some fresh air.

Jabree came picking me up. He drove me to a lakeside when there’s an ice cream store nearby. We talked a lot. He brought two chocolate ice cream for the both of us. We walked to the lakeside with our ice cream cones.

He told me how to get close to Alyn. He said, “Someone have to take a step closer for it to work.”

He then took a step closer to me and grab me by the waist. He gazed into my eyes and said, “Your eyes look like the morning sky.”

He let me go. I felt my heart prancing. We lie down on the grass and just adoring the cool breeze. He placed his arm out as a cushion. Both of us stared at the clear blue sky while I enjoyed being in his arms.

I thought to myself, “Alyn and I would never get this close. But today, Jabree took a step closer to my heart.”

The day is coming to an end.

Routinely, Jabree send me home once again. He said he had a lot of fun today.

I told him I would be go to madalen college. He smiles brightly and said that he would also go to the same college. We both beamed as we were going to see each other in the same school. He said, “Goodnight, Alecia. See you soon.” I waved and went into my house.

I took a shower and hopped onto bed. I could not sleep. I was thinking of my relationship with Jabree as well as Alyn. I knew I had to sort out my feelings as soon as possible. Jabree gave me a call. He said he could not sleep as he had something to tell me. He asked if I could meet him at the nearby park.

I headed out to meet him. I was sitting on the swing, waiting for his arrival.

He came and pulled my hand towards him. Because of his actions, I was very close to him. It made me super nervous. ‘What is he going to say? Why did he grabbed me towards his side?’

JABREE

I drove Alecia home and then headed back. While I was driving back, I realize that my love for Alecia is way too much to handle. I felt the need to confess my feelings for her. Furthermore, I felt that it was a good timing to do so. I have to step up before Alyn does. If not, I would stand no chance at all. I grabbed Alecia by the hand and pulled her, she then took a step closer towards me.

I stumbled, “Alecia, there’s something I want to tell you. I... I like...I like you. I would like to date you.”

Alecia was shocked and she said “I need some time. I need to sort out my feelings first.”

I said, “You don’t have to give me an answer now. I’ll wait for you, no matter how long it takes.”

ALECIA

Jabree confessed to me. I was rather surprised, yet I felt glad. I told him that I needed to sort out my feelings first before dating him. After he confessed, he gave me a kiss on the forehead and left.

Jabree texted me again at night. He said there’s a college activity for freshies. He would like to go together. I agreed as always. I always enjoyed his accompany and I wanted to find out if I fallen in love with Jabree. After we went to Madalen, he dragged me to his father’s company which is actually always where he stays.

The company have a room that labelled as Chief Executive Officer, Jabree. The room looked very classy even from the outside. I asked, “Is it really okay for me to come in?”

He said, “This is just my rest place. Sometimes I would handle some work. The position I got is from my dad. It’s not really by my hard work.”

He sighed and continued talking, “I have 1 brother, 3 half-brothers and 1 nephew that is around my age. They are as the Chief Executive officer of the company. Everyone is fighting for the president title. They want to inherit the company. However, I would like to leave this company as soon as I can fly. After I finish college studies, I will open a new office and be the boss. I believe I can do it.”

I understand his pain. I wanted to know more about what he plans to do in the future. I asked him what will he be selling in his future company.

He said, “I’m interested in computer programming as well as computer gamers. Hence, I will create a company that works on these two prospects.”

He asks me for some ideas and my opinion. I supported his idea. In this generation, many uses computer programming, and many teenagers and adults plays gamers to relieve stress. He opens the room and invited me in. I walk into the room. It was vast, enormous. There are sofa and a coffee table that were used during meetings with workers. There is another work desk, further in, which Jabree used to work on. I was amazed at how big his office is. Then, he said, “There’s more. Follow me.”

He winks at me and hold my hand. He brought me into the inner section of the room. There’s 2 small room, a bedroom and a kitchen. Lastly, there’s a restroom. My jaw dropped. I have never seen such a beautiful office room in my entire life.

He offered me an ice lemon juice.

He handed me the drink and said, “This is basically the place where I spent my time at. I have never brought anyone into my room before, including workers. They were only allowed to gather at the coffee table which you saw just now.”

I felt honored. He showed me his plans about how he would establish his future company. I saw his work drawings and his ideas. It was good, but I know the path won’t be easy. He assured me that he will success, and told me to support him and gave him motivation until then. I agreed. I realized that the person I’m in love with is Jabree. No, I wasn’t in love with his money. I was just in love with his person.

Since that day, we often spent time together. We eat in school together, we go to school together and we do our homework together. During our mid-term breaks, he asked me to work in his company as a part-time worker. I thought of it as a great opportunity. I can learn many new things and I get to be with Jabree. He thought me all sort of new things. I had a great time with him.

AYLN

It’s the mid-term break. I decided to work part-time as a bakery chef. I have an interest in baking. I asked Alecia if she wants to join me. She said she is going to work in Einsoft, Jabree’s father’s company. I asked her out as I really missed her. I realize that I can’t forget Alecia. I brought a necklace and asked to meet her at Einsoft carpark. I made up my mind and decided to confess my feelings to her. It was way too hard to keep it in, which I had for 5 years. I need to at least find out that she doesn’t love me.”

ALECIA

I quickly head to the carpark. Alyn said, “Meier… Actually, since middle school, I have liked...”

I knew what he was going to say. I panicked and quickly interrupted, “Alyn. I don’t want to lose you, an important friend. You get what I mean? You are a very important friend to me and I wished it can stay like this forever.”

After I said my piece, I gave him a quick hug.

ALYN

Alecia rejected me when I was about to take out the necklace. I quickly hid the necklace box back into my pocket. I wished her all the best and told her I will be there as a friend whenever she needs. I forced myself to smile and drove off as soon as I got into the car. I need a break. I feel so worn out. The feelings I have been hiding in my heart for so many years. At least now I wot bear any hopeless wish anymore. I felt relieved.

JABREE

I have received threaten calls from unknown numbers. I believe it was from one of my family members who is fighting for the president’s position. He warned me not to take over the company. If not, Alecia and I will not be safe. it’s not the first time I have been receiving such threaten. When I was 8, my half-brothers’ mother hired people to hurt me. She tried to hire professionals to kill me by concealing it and make it seem like a car accident. I barely survived that incident. From then now, I have been wary of my family members, I try not to get close with them.

After I received that call, I was looking of Alecia and I realize she was not in the office where she usually is assigned to. I search the whole buildings from every departments to cafes. I finally saw her at the lift near the carpark. I ran towards her and gave her a hug. This time, it was different. She hugged me back with love. I told her not to be separated from her at all times as there might be people that are after us. I assured her not to worry and gave her a kiss on the forehead.

I then asked, “Hey, Alecia. Don’t you think it’s time for you to accept my love? I waited long already. “

ALECIA

Jabree gave me a passionate kiss, he made me feel special. I could tell from his eyes that I was the one in his heart. Jabree brought me to a room where it was not used for a quite long period of time. We continued our kiss and affection there. He clearly knew that I have officially accepted him. He was happy and asked me out for dinner. I immediately agreed.

AFTER 5 YEARS OF DATING, ALECIA AND JABREE HAVE FINALLY TURNED 21. JABREE HAD FINALLY SET UP HIS COMPUTER COMPANY. IT WAS VERY SUCESSFULLY. HE LEFT HIS FATHER’S COMPANY, WHICH ONLY CAUSED HIM MISERY. HE PROPOSE TO ALECIA, AND SHE WAS MORE THAN WILLING TO SAY YES. AFTER THAT, THEY GOT MARRIED.

AFTER THEY WERE MARRIED, THEY HAVE BEEN TRYING TO HAVE BABY AS BOTH LOVE CHILDREN A LOT. AFTER A YEAR, ALECIA AND JABREE STILL HAS NOT RECEIVE ANY GOOD NEWS YET. ALECIA WAS UPSET AT BOTH JABREE AND HERSELF. SHE NOT ONLY DID LOVE CHILDREN, SHE ALWAYS FELT A LOT OF PRESSURE FROM JABREE’S PARENTS. THEY WANT HER TO HAVE A CHILD SO THAT THE CHILD WOULD CARRY THEIR FAMILY’ NAME.

SHE FELT SHE WAS DISTANT FROM JABREE BECAUSE OF THE ISSUE ABOUT CHILDREN. JABREE HAD TOO HANDLE A LOT OF PRESSURE AS WELL. EVERYDAY HE HAD TO WORK, AND WHEN HE REACHED HOME, HE FELT PRESSURIZE. JABREE THEN STARTED TO GO HOME LATE AT NIGHT, TRYING TO AVOID THE PROBLEM HE HAD.

FINALLY, AFTER A LONG WAIT, ALECIA FOUND OUT THAT SHE WAS GOING TO BE A MOTHER. ALECIA SAID, “JABREE, YOU’RE GONNA BE A FATHER!!”

ALECIA BROKE THE NEWS TO JABREE, AND JABREE HUGGED HER TIGHTLY. HE HAD NEVER FELT SO HAPPY BEFORE. THE CHILD WAS THE TOKEN OF THEIR LOVE. HENCE, THEY TREASURE THE OPPORTUNITY A LOT. SINCE THEN, ALECIA AND JABREE’S MARRIAGE HAVE BEEN SAILING SMOOTHLY. AFTER 2 YEARS, ALECIA WAS CONCEIVED AGAIN. THIS TIME SHE WAS PREGANANT WITH TWINS. SINCE THEN, THEIR HOME WAS A LOT NOISIER WITH LAUGHTERS OF THEIRS AND THEIR CHILD.

THEY LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER WITH THEIR 3 CHILDREN.
