Elemental 2016 is an apt metaphor to describe the rich and dynamic heritage of PJCs performing arts groups. Their performances are fluid and ever-changing; with each moment that the performers present on stage providing a varied and multi-coloured lens of celebrating the arts. The act of immersive viewing could hence, be likened to the intimate relationship between the audience and the performers.

PJC performing arts consist of choir, symphonic band, drance and drama.

I decided to support this concert because my seniors that was used to be in Kranji Secondary , were going to perform in the PJC symphonic band.
I got to know my seniors as they were onced in Kranji symphonic band. We were close as we were from the same section in band, French Horn.

French Horn Section Pictures :)

Taken on Kranji own concert. It was a christmas concert and I was choosen to act as an elf. Hence, in the picture, I wasn't wearing the same outfit as my friends.

Back to the PJC concert, I found it very interesting to watch as there were different performing art groups performing on that day.
Even though the concert ticket is a little pricey ($22) , it was definitely worth watching. Not only the band's playing was good, the rest of the performing arts did really well too.
The PJC drama took my breath away. I usually do not enjoy watching the drama section the most as I often find it too hard to understand the storyplot, or it was too boring for my liking. However, the PJC drama storyplot was based on a sad heart-breaking love story, which really caught my attention and ears.

My seniors were elated when they found out that my friend and I were going to support them by attending their school concert as it was their last concert in PJC before stepping down for their A levels.

This local art event reminds me of a very huge part of my secondary school life. I had so many memories in band because of the amount of time we spent together.
We have band CCA 3 times a week. The amount of effort we spent together, practising for our performances. (e.g. Concerts,  Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) , etc. )

It was tough journey, but enjoyable at the same time. We were all tired, but we always put in our best effort and continued walking till the end together. 💗
